Andrew chainsaw boots are Class 3 Chainsaw Safety rated for chainsaws with chain speeds up to 28m/s and feature a complex multi-layer Kevlar mat within the upper that provides the wearer with a very high level of protection and also a steel toe cap and additional anti-penetration plate to guard against penetration from sharp objects.

These boots are designed and crafted to perform and last in New Zealand’s most rugged workplace conditions, where the wearer demands the very best protection and comfort.

Andrew Class 3 Chainsaw SPX boots are available in two options. Non spiked, with a 3 spike per boot upgrade option as well as fully Spiked.

Strongly engineered all leather uppers with a multi-layered Kevlar protective mat, robust hardware with roller ball eyelets, full protective rubber rand and the Magma rubber sole which is strong, oil and chemical resistant and can be re-soled.

We partnered with the manufacturer in Italy to incorporate design features for New Zealand conditions to deliver the highest possible safety standards within boots that would also last and be comfortable to wear for long days on the hill.

Andew boots come with a 12-month warranty and will last well when they are properly cared for. We recommend drying them with a convection, which is the convection or overnight process, regular cleaning and conditioning so the leather remains supple and does not dry out and crack.

OPTION: The triple spikes in the arch area of the boot, which gives great grip, exceptional wear resistance, and traction. The spikes are carbon steel and removable. Spike kits are sold separately.

A high-performance outsole designed for the extreme outdoors with great traction and grip and hardwearing. Comfortable heel-to-toe motion, and sure grip on slippery surfaces.

Designed to use with optional studs for extra grip. Studs need to be screwed into the receptacles placed in the arch area of the sole.

Our safety shoes are Category III Personal Protective Equipment subject to CE Certification by RICOTEST Notified Body (certificate N. 0498), Via Tione 9 – 37010 Pastrengo VR – Italy. (www.ricotest.com), and subject to the type conformity assessment procedure based on internal production control together with product tests carried out under official control at periodic intervals (form C2) under the supervision of the RICOTEST notified body (no. 0498)

Antelao Spiked SPX Class 3 Boot

The Antelao Spiked features a double padded fully adjustable leather tongue, resulting in the perfect fit and comfort an ultra-rugged Andrew Duramax fully spiked full rubber sole, and a steel safety toe. Spikes are 15/64 imperial and replaceable.

3.0mm Perwanger leather upper with Kevlar Class 3 chainsaw protection and a Sympatex 100% waterproof membrane, windproof and highly breathable. Rubber rand for enhanced protection of the leather upper, with additional arch support, maximum stability, and rigid flex.
